No. The NAPA AutoTech XcceleratoR is a productivity tool. Accelerated skill development is one component — the smart glasses and in-the-flow-of-work assistance drive most of the daily value.
Is this VR?
No. The XcceleratoR uses XR — extended reality — which includes mixed and augmented reality. The XR training goggles are used for guided practice. The smart glasses are the hands-free daily-driver tool techs wear in the bay
What does it cost?
Single Tech: $3,000 up front Year 1, or $225/month. Shop Package: $6,000 up front Year 1, or $167/month per technician. Volume and multi-year discounts available.
When does it ship?
Hardware and the first 21 lessons shipped April 30, 2026. Additional lesson drops in June and August 2026. Full 53-lesson release November 3, 2026.
