What is Accelerate
Accelerate is the skill development tool inside the NAPA XcceleratoR. Delivered in the XR Training Goggles, it builds the core 30% of skills that drive most of the billable work on your floor. 53 ASE-aligned lessons. Immersive, first-person video paired with hands-on simulation. Learn five. Do five. Move forward.
This isn't a course. It's a compression engine.
53 Lessons. Eight Service Areas. One Compression Engine.
Every lesson in Accelerate is built around the skills that actually show up in the bay — the core work that drives billable hours, reduces comebacks, and gets newer technicians contributing faster.
Every Month of Ramp Time Costs You $60,000
At dealer-class economics, every month a technician reaches productivity sooner is worth approximately $60,000 in recovered revenue. Accelerate cuts the new-tech ramp roughly in half — and ASE has verbally committed to compressing the OJT requirement from 2 years to 1 year for program completers. Each ASE credential adds an 8–15% billing-rate premium.

Accelerate Isn't a Course.
There's no classroom. No sitting. No passive watching.
It's a hands-on compression engine — built to turn new hires into billable technicians, fast.
From Hire to Billable in Weeks, Not Years.
53 lessons. 25 days. The skills that drive the work on your floor — built in the XR Training Goggles, without exhausting your senior staff.
Is Accelerate a training course?
No. Accelerate is a skill development tool — a hands-on compression engine delivered in the XR training goggles. There's no classroom, no passive instruction, and no separate study program. Technicians learn by doing.
How long does it take?
About 25 days to complete the core lessons that drive most billable work. The full 53-lesson catalog is available across three content drops through November 2026.
What lessons are available now?
Shop Safety, Core Essentials, and Brakes shipped April 30, 2026. Tires and Steering & Suspension ship June 25, 2026. Electrical ships August 25, 2026. Engine & Fluids and Vehicle Diagnostics ship November 3, 2026.
Does Accelerate replace my existing training program?
No. Accelerate compresses and accelerates skill development — it doesn't replace instructor-led training or NAPA's in-person programs. It works alongside them.
Is this aligned to ASE certifications?
Yes. All 53 lessons are ASE aligned, with embedded ASE prep guidance in every lesson. Technicians build practical competence and certification readiness at the same time.
Do my senior techs need to be involved?
That's the point — they don't. Accelerate takes the training burden off your senior staff so they can focus on billable work.
